Theatre Opportunities
Technical Staff
Interested in the technical side of theater? We are always looking for professional designers (set, sound, costumes, etc) as well as builders, carpenters, painters. Send your resume.
Auditions
Auditions are conducted 2-3 months before the season begins. (LGDT generally operates July-Oct.) Auditions are usually held in both NYC and the local Lake George area, and will be widely advertised on The Actors Equity website, Backstage and Playbill. Please do not submit unsolicited headshots & resumes. Lake George Dinner Theatre is a professional theater company featuring members of Actor’s Equity Association. However, our contract with the union also allows us to hire a certain percentage of non-union actors.
Internship Program
Are you a local college student looking for experience in working with a professional theater company? LGDT has all sorts of opportunities to offer. Learn more about set design and building, lighting, marketing and much more! We cannot provide housing for any interns, but we do offer a modest stipend. If you are interested, please contact us.
